Does RSS help?

Is it worth it to go through the bother of RSS submission for sites that do not change much? I can see it if you have a blog you are updating regularly etc., I subscribe to some feeds myself. However, does it help for other sites? Is it worth the bother? I have submitted a few but never noticed any links out of them.

    I just got Big Mikes RSSBot. I use it to submit my new sites in order to get indexed fast. It got my site indexed within a day... no help from anything else.

      there are some that stick very fast like millionrss and readablog

      and yes, its better that you submit it. You dont have much too lose. Have your younger brother do it if you dont want to waste time on it and give him a tip
