In the last two months - my sig links as well as article submission backlinks haven't been working at all.

They use to work all the time for me. Have you guys experienced the same thing?

I definitely get referrals from signature links. I think it is a natural progression over time for there being an ever increasing benchmark needed to get ranked. You figure there are a few trillion pages on the web competing, compared with a few billion a few years ago.
