Hi there
I want to switch link on blog comment from no-follow to do-follow but many search engines doesnt encourage this.

So can I get penalty by google or yahoo for what i intend to do???

    There's no penalty either way.
    IMHO, all blogs should be nofollow.

    I don't know what you mean by "many" search engines.
    I can count the ones that matter on 3 fingers.

    And what search engines have you heard do not
    encourage this??? Google readily encourages it. If you already
    "knew" that search engines don't encourage this, then why
    ask here?

    Penalty, however, is a bad choice of words.
    There are things that work good, things that work
    better, things that work best, and things that don't
    work at all. When things don't work out so well, people
    scream penalty. Nofollow is one of those things that do
    nothing for the parent site.
