I have a blog about a free game.
And it is no competition on the main keyword.
So I was thinking about just for fun place a PPC 1 cent campaign.

Will I get ads on the long tail keywords if I only target the main key word...?

    You are unlikely to pay only one cent.
    I assume you are monetizing with ads. This will result in a poorer score on the page quality portion of the QS.
    Don't assume there's no competition even if you don't see it.
