I've done a lot of things involving affiliate marketing and more recently, CPA, but I never tried my hand at PPC. I've come a long way since the beginning and want to take a stab at PPC.

I realize Google has become more strict, but now the competition will be lower.

What do you suggest as the "best PPC training" (preferably video, but ebooks are okay too)?

      Hi Pro Affiliate.

The best way for you to learn PPC if you are looking to do it yourself and on the cheap is through the Google forums. They have a number of 15 - 20 minute videos that will help - simply do a search for 'adwords help tutorials'

I would give you the link but for some reason this board will not allow me too.

Over at the PPC Training Academy we run courses that actually take you through the set up stages 1 stage at a time with best practice advice from Google, Yahoo and Bing. So if you needed we can show you how to set up accounts on all platforms for a small fee.

But as I mention if you want to do it for free the link above is your best shout because its straight from Google - do be aware however they want you to spend money with them so don't take everything as gospel!

Pay-per-click (or PPC for short) is a type of online advertising where you only pay when somebody clicks on your advertisement. Together with search engine optimization (SEO), it's one of the major methods affiliates can use to get traffic to their websites.
