I seem to be getting confused re anchor text. I have a wedding speech website. How should the anchor text be presented and where?

    I always say, the anchor text should read exactly what you want people to type in the search engines for your site.

    I'd say "Wedding Speeches" would be perfect.

      This is not true, anchor text should be in accordance with link.

      Example:

          It should be but, if your domain is bestwedding2010.com for SEO is not so good to put Wedding Speeches like anchor text, so it's very important to choose appropriate domain and keywords.

    Start posting your anchor text in most of your forums signatures as well.
    I would advice you to go for wedding speeches as it has less competition as compared to the other one.
