Those of you using Adsense - Are Your Ads Gone?

Just a quick question. I don't make the majority of my income using Adsense, but I know some people do.

This morning, all of the adsense ads are missing from all of my blogs, other than 1 little ad about the elections.

Anyone else having this problem?

Never mind - Problem solved. I've been trying to get a pin number for months, and my account has reached a dollar amount that they won't show ads on my blogs until I enter a pin. Kind of stuck here, huh?

Are you *sure* that's the reason? I've never heard of them not showing ads because of the pin number. Usually, the pin number is for you to receive your first payment after reaching a certain amount.

    tess47,

There is an adsense forum for these types of posts below this onw on the main forums page.

You will get a better response by posting there.

Here is what it shows on my account:

    * Your pages are displaying Public Service Advertisements (PSAs) because you haven't yet verified your PIN and/or phone number. See the 'Required Action' box on the Payment History page for more details.

I have verified my phone number, but have been having a hard time getting my card in the mail to verify my pin. I put another request in for that, but in the meantime I guess I won't be earning any Adsense revenue!

    Thanks for your replies

Well, you learn something new every day! :-) Thanks for clearing that up for me. Had never heard of them doing this.

If I recall correctly (and I could be wrong! LOL!), when my husband got his PIN, it was a white postcard that was easy to miss -- make sure you check all your junk mail carefully, when going through your mail. (You probably are, but I thought I'd just get that out there, just in case -- and for anybody else waiting for their PIN.)

Are you a member of affiliate programs like Clickbank, Linkshare, Commission Junction, Shareasale? You could try displaying affiliate links/ads, in the meantime.
