    There is no such thing as "correct adsense position". Adsense is not about mechanics. The sooner you understand this the better your chances for success.

    The click through rate is determined by matching user intentions to ad content. And that isn't done mechanically.

    Back to the drawing board.

      I totally agree, only you know EXACTLY which market and part of that market you are targetting

      Unfortunately, and this is true of many similar questions on this forum, your fellow Warriors are usually more than happy to provide advice & tips, but it must be understood that everybody has to go through some form of learning curve - you will NOT be shown a direct route to the pot at the end of the rainbow, because there isn't a direct route, each route has it's variables dependant on many factors [MILD RANT OVER]

      Apart from that, a good starting point for an Adsense ready WP theme would be one of the 'Prosense' themes (not going to show you where they are - just Google it)

    I searched for the best Adsense themes, and I was pretty disappointed in what I found. Recently I have read, and John Schwartz (zeus66) told me that the theme should be very simple. And put your adsense where the eyes go, top right under the title, and maybe again at the bottom to catch folks who actually read your article. Maybe you can catch them there if you didn't get their attention with an add at the top.

    That is basically the best advice that I have received.

      I second John (Xfactor's) endorsement of CBEv3 - not only do the theme options allow you to do just about anything you want, but Scott personally helped me clear up an issue that was causing me some difficulties.
