Hey everyone, I'm pretty much new so I was wondering do you need to create your own landing page to be able to run goolge image ads or can you somehow have a domain which will redirect them to the sales page without having to create your own landing page? Thank you!

Google has a 1 domain rule so two ads with the same domain name can't display at the same time. You can however buy a domain and frame the offer and get around the 1 domain rule. The problem is that many offers require some sort of preselling. In my opinion you should get in the habit of creating landing pages. You have a lot more control and a better chance in most cases of converting the visitor. Of course you need to test to be 100% sure. If you can't design a landing page, there are plenty of designers that can do it for you. If you're new to PPC, then you better plan on spending at least $3000 before you start making any real money. Most newbies think they can spending $100 or $200 and starting making money. That's barely even enough money to test a single campaign. Just my two cents.

I think Google is a bit funny when it comes to linking directly to the affiliate page, sometimes you can get away with it and other times they will send you a little message how that sort of thing is not allowed. Yahoo on the other hand is not so strict with their paying customers. I don't want to get in a discussion about the two however, I personally think Google is the best and most used search engine but their behavior is very much like the Catholic nun with the steel ruler on the knuckle slap.

With PPC, as the other guy said before me, you should very much know what to do or get a pro to do it in order to minimize the cost of the campaign, even if you set a daily limit, you can burn out all your credit and not achieve anything.

    • Build your own landing pages.

There are programs that allow you to easily build simple websites.
      See this video tutorial
If you are serious about IM you must be able to create at least simple website and have at least one domain that you own.

People will tell you these "wizard" built sites are not search engine friendly but that is not true, if done correctly.

Search "free business training" on any search engine and FBT will be on the first page. FBT is built with a site builder.

Take control of your online destiny, it's easier than you might think.

          Sure it is.

You want to advertise a domain, say (yoursite.com) when people click on the ad expecting to go to (yoursite.com) they will instead be redirected to (youraffiliatesite.com).

Google is sure to see that as transparent advertising, oh yeah.

#1 Beginners should not go anywhere near PPC until they have studied it in-depth. Perry Marshall, a recognized PPC expert said something like; "Adwords is like playing 3-D chess against 100 opponents at once, and they are constantly changing the rules three days before they let you know." Beginners don't make money with PPC, they lose it

#2 Google is getting so "snakey" lately they have become almost impossible to deal with. Deceptive practices (like redirects) are top of their list.

#3 If someone told you you can run an ad on Google and make a pile of money, with little or no experience with PPC, they are lying to you.

That's my penny and a half.

          Good luck!
