How many more clicks?

I started adwords 2 days ago, the clicks per day have gone from 20 clicks on the first day, to 60 clicks today.

So far my page has had 73 unique views, how many unique page views would be a realistic expectation before making a sale?

How many unique views before I know whether the niche is profitable or not?

Hello Samsta, without further information it is hard to answer that question as there are many variables.

With that in mind this may help, there is no set realistic view number but many people when very first launching a product work on a 1% conversion ratio as a base, so 1 / 100 would be your default starting point.

This how ever may vary with a sale in 1 / 50 or 1 / 200 or even more.

The conversion rate in itself is not a factor in that if you can get Penny clicks on a good return product you will make a profit even with a low conversion rate which is more in relation to your next question.

In many ways you may loose some money before you start to make some as you may need to adjust or tweak your ads and or keywords so they perform at best levels to allow you to make a profit.

Each person probably sets a $ amount based on some formula that works best for their budget and or goals, for example lets say the commission return on a product is $50 some may elect to spend $50 in testing others may spend 3 times that amount, others again may only spend half.

As you move forward the most important thing is you work within your own budget spend that you can afford, and to take things slowly at the start.

    cheers
