Question for SEO Experts... ranking will be better?

My friend, who is a site flipper as well, he works on his sites mainly by blog commenting for SEO, well he told me that he got ranked in top 5 in a keyword that brings him about 70 UV a day from Google, it took him 1 month and he commented about 20 times on different high PR blog posts... I bought this site so I know it's real.... but I have a question..


What if he did about 40 comments daily... would he get ranked in top 5 in 15 days instead of 30?

    If its for a new domain then I highly doubt it as the Google dance usally lasts about 3 weeks. Which is likely to be the reason he spread the link building over 4.

    You need to diversify your link building strategy way beyond blog commenting.

    I wont go into all of the different link building techniques here (most have been covered on this forum at some point), but a diverse link profile is very important.
