Hi,
Which are the fastest web 2.0 Sites to get indexed?
And I'm not talking about social bookmarking sites, I'm referring to sites like Hubpages, Ezine, Squidoo, Youtube, Zimbio etc...

Not too long ago I've tried using Squidoo and got stuck for a while when I couldn't get my Squidoo lenses indexed. I do not want to repeat this mistake and waste my time again and that's why I ask.

thanks.

I am doing on squidoo lenses and seems it is fine. But for the best one I feel is ezine but they seems tough in approving new articles.

I've found success with Hubpages. My hubs were indexed in less than 48 hours.

You can get anything indexed pretty much, you just need to link to it from an established source or two. I have a couple of blogger blogs that are a year or so old and have a bit of PR, so I just do a quick blog and link to a new site and they usually get indexed within a couple of days - the record just doing that was 7 hours!

Let me give you a few tip.. Don't worry if your squiddo doesn't indexed... All you need to do is just ping it and submit it to high PR social bookmarking.. only 10-12 sites including digg and technorati will work..

That's what I used to do for getting my lens indexed.. It hardly took more than 10 minutes....

    Hope I have helped
    Thanks

Squidoo is useful if you have only used it properly. Put your keyword on it and quality content.

As Jazbo has already stated here, you can get any site indexed. It doesn't matter which Web 2.0 property you are using. Google will not pick or choose which one to index and which one not to.

If you want to see it indexed really quick with little effort though just add the sit to your sig.

What? Not quite sure I understand where you are coming from here or what you are trying to say but to answer your question yes I am sure about this.

I really don't see why anyone would think that google would show preference to which Web 2.0 property it indexes or not?

And where did the whole spamming forum profiles comment come from? You seem to be a bit confused...

G cannot show preference based on link. It doesn't care whether it's web 2.0 or not. But it is able to choose based on the on-page factors.

Here's something you can prove it to yourself.

Go to bloglines.com. It's PR 9. Do both.

          1) Create lots of unique content. Insert less links.
          2) Give little content. Insert tons of links.

Then you ping or do rss submission to see which one get indexed in the search.

          [NOTE]
I think that's also happening to forum profile though I don't have a concrete evidence yet.

The reason why G doesn't index most forum profiles could be due to on-page factor. There's lack of content.

But, sometimes G put multiple profiles of the same forum into listing. The profiles have almost similar content. That is the thing that puzzles me. Perhaps the other factor is due link love. In other word, G loves that forum. Perhaps... I just don't know the real reason.

As I said you seem to be very confused here, (as you have in almost all of the post I have read of yours).

The OP asked a very simple question.
Which Are the Fastest Web 2.0 Sites to Get indexed?
Where you started getting into forum profiles and such I do not understand?

No there is no preference at all. In the end how fast you get indexed is about your pings and where you submit your links to and where you are getting your backlinks from.

  • I have seen good results with Folkd. One thing also to concider when trying to get everything indexed quick is it looks unnatural. Although this only pertains to mass linking. I find that when I get bookmarked in digg, folkd, mister wong, and stumble upon, I usually am indexed in Google within a week and yahoo even quicker.

Those are what I use to get my sites index these day..

Jazbo makes a good point. Generally speaking I think it's a good idea to keep a Blogger or Wordpress free blog around and update it occasionally, if for no other reason that by doing so it makes it possible to get anything indexed whenever you want. This works especially well with profile style link building.

Hubpages have never given me any problems being indexed on their own though.

Squidoo lens & hub pages are not web 2.0 sites.

But they play vital roll to get much back links.

Some of web 2.0 sites are : -

    livejournal.com
    tumblr.com
    vox.com
    viviti.com
    multiply.com
    weebly.com
    webs.com

I agree Hubpages is good page for get index. But xomba is very fast index, and also easy to fall after few weeks . I used to try with my article, I make a article and bookmarking it with xomba ( They have give you two type: post a article with 250 words or bookmarking a links with minmium 50 words. ) Within few hours , about 2 hours when I search that keyword , it have at page 2. I do not know how it works, but Google seem love them.
