Viewing PPC ads by location

I live in the UK but would like to see the PPC ads shown on various search engines in different locations, such as the US, France etc.
I remember using a trial version of such a program about a year ago, where it only worked in Internet Explorer. I don't want the proxy working in Firefox or for any of my other programs.
Anyone know what program it might be?
