Sites linking to each other on same IP

Hi,

Has anyone had any good or bad experience with linking websites to each other on the same IP?

We offer web design on the back of other services and our web developer has placed links back to our website on every website we have ever designed. The majority of these websites are hosted on the same IP as our website.

    LOL! I said that exact same thing!

    People hear bits and pieces of myths together and
    come up with one big lie that seems believable.

    Squidoo is just one example that I readily exploit.

    Blogspot would be another.

    These servers have thousands of sites on the same IP and
    people have multiple ones. Those are just 2 examples.

    I have multiple blogs and squidoos, all interlinked. Many are
    top ranked.
