If a sub-domain site gets de-indexed by google, does it effect the main domain and therefore all other sub-domains which are related to the main domain?

Thanks.

I think they treat sub-domains as different domains.

But I'd consider it a warning and try not to duplicate
    what got it de-indexed.

You could ask a similar question. If a page of a website
gets de-indexed, does it affect the main domain?

    Hello,

Sub domain doesn't effect to your main domain.

For most sites, a subdomain isn't treated any differently than a folder. There are some exceptions to this rule when it comes to major authority sites like Google's own Blogger, WordPress.com and About.com but for us little folks, Google treats it as one site. So, if one subdomain misbehaves then the whole thing gets deindexed.

At one time, they did get treated as different domains but when dark siders figured this out they exploited it to the max using automated tools like YACG and Google put a stop to it.

I have planned to create sub domain for some keywords.

    For Example x_keywords.domain.com, y_keywords.domain.

Whether Google Will De-indexed while using sub domain for targeting keywords.
