Ping.fm not correctly posting to Brightkite

I tried to search the forum but didn't find anything.

The issue is that ping.fm no longer posts to my brightkite accounts sharing the posts with "everybody".

Before I had to manually make only the first public post directly from brightkite: ping.fm usually followed this privacy setting for the nexts.

It's a couple of weeks that it doesn't work anymore. Ping.fm posts, but as private.

Anybody with the same issue, or better, a solution?

    I think perhaps Pingfm is having a few problems, it stopped autoposting for me about 5 days ago now and hasn't restarted yet. I read others are experiencing this as well

      That issues relates to the ping.fm api key. Ping.fm stopped their api keys from working (if you clicked on your api key, it said that it was halted). Supposedly a few people have got their ping.fm api keys reissued by requested that from ping.fm, but i'm waiting on close to a week with no response from them.

      You can still post to ping.fm by email though.
