Ads aren't showing when you visit google.com? Unless you are the highest bidder on the top spots for a keyword, they rotate randomly, so you might not spot your own ads while searching google.com

Are you the highest bidder on any of them? Are any of your campaigns pending or active?

Increase the amount you are paying until your ads show. Monitor your account closely. Lower the amount slowly over the course of the day (if its an active search term) or over a few days.
I experienced the same thing with a particular product I was promoting.
There were 3 other advertisers for my keyword (I use exact match)
It should have been a no brainier in my mind that I shouldn't have to pay very much for the ad. You'd think the minimum amount would show my ad right?

Nope, Google thinks otherwise. I had to raise my min bid on the keyword to some stupid amount like $.80 or $.90 before the ad would show and then I lowered it as it got traffic. Eventually I got the ad for $.23 per click but I think I should have been able to pay only $.10

My page was highly relevant and scored well but I could never get the cost down below $.23 even though there were only 3 of us on the page.

Are you using broad match keywords?
Be careful using broad match - it can deplete your limit quickly

    Start by using exact match

    Hope that helps

I have seen this. Sometimes for no good reason Google takes a few hours to start showing your ads. Make sure it is marked as Enabled, and your keywords are showing as "eligible" just give it a few hours.
