Hi Warriors,

I want to put up some reviews for products that I'm promoting . In terms of SEO, would I be better doing a separate review minisite for each product or just do a single site and review on a new page for each product (i will be reviewing several different products from the same person) ?

cheers,

Gary

Yes, you are absolutely right as there is no need to create website for every product as you can create a menu with the page with little information about your products and can target some relevant keywords related to your products in the content.

      Thanks

Still, it would be better to have related products under one website rather than lumping all sorts of products together. That way, it would be more targeted and not hodge-podge.

I agree, do just one site. It will also be easier to promote since you will now have one URL to worry about and you can just deep link the review pages.

Each page can be index individually in the Google, so there is no requirement for the making a new web site for it. You can get review of the evry product on the same site.

better for seo to do seo on each page and home page but in terms of sales, if a person is looking for a product and finds a website with reviews for many products if they are not related or if website looks cheap you will not sell anything.

If you are bringing traffic by PPC, banner ads or any other non SEO technique, one website would suffice.
However, if you want each of your reviews to rank on Google's 1st page, unless you have an authority site, 1 keyword rich domain for each product is better.
For people like you and I, I think this is the best option. Of course if you have an authority site in this niche, then you may have a chance of ranking all products under the same name. But then again, you will have to compete with Snipers in the same niche and if they know their SEO, they will beat your authority site
