Hi Folks,

I think my off page SEO is humming along pretty well. I am now on page one for all my targeted keywords against some pretty stiff main domain competition. Now I want to explore on page SEO of which I have very little information to see if I can squeeze out a bit more juice in that area.

Main keywords in my title tag? (check)
Main keywords in my meta description? (check)
Main keywords sprinkled throughout my page content? (check)

What else can I be doing? I am sure there are key elements I am missing...

Thanks...Adrian

I would add some LSI (related keywords) that are based around your primary keyword. Do some research on the top 10 sites for your keyword and see what other main points, topics, or related keywords they have in their content. That should give you a good idea of what keywords Google classes as related. Here's the best way to determine related keywords of your primary keyword:

Search for your primary keyword in Google. Pick 3 urls from the top 10 results. Take each of these urls to the Google keyword tool and put them in there. Hit Get keyword ideas and then sort the results by relevance. This will show you the most relevant related keywords on that site. It really helps to determine other keywords you should include in your content. I use this method to determine related keywords for every article I write.

The idea is that...if these pages the ones that Google finds most relevant, then including the same related keywords in your content will bolster your pages relevance. Very important for on-page SEO in my experience.

Also, having your primary keyword as an outgoing link to a relevant authority site will help with on-page SEO.
