I've had enough of the profile spamming. Even though I have recaptcha to register, and there is no way to get a link in member profiles on my forums, people STILL spam, even though there is no benefit. I'm assuming it's amateurs doing this work that just litters the internet, but I am now doing my part by totally eliminating any benefit whatsoever to this stupid technique. I am assuming more people will follow suit.
Really, there was no benefit for me and search engines to allow member pages to be indexed anyway. It's the content pages that matter.
