I have a blogspot blog that has been up for about 1 week and it still isnt indexed yet.

If it's urgent, ping it with this:
Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites
then tweet it, then ask your friends to tweet it.

But of your blog has general indexation problems, read this:

you can also use some social social bookmarks such as reddit, stumbleupon and delicious to make sure if your blog is indexed..
