Video backlinks

Hi

I've started writing articles to create backlinks for my website and was thinking that i would start make videos with some of the content in my articles.
And my question is will it count as a backlink if i put a link to my website in the description of the video?

    Depends on where you are uploading the video to. Some of them allow html in the description and some dont.

    For instance Vimeo you can add a link in your description. They make it nofollow but that really doesnt matter.

      when you get your videos done- and get the embed code - I can show you an automated apporach to getting them [ the vids ] and full anchor text html descriptions back to where ever you want :-)

      I call it my video-x-ploitation method.
