I am trying to get my new site listed on google, bing, yahoo ect. I have submitted it manually to these sites but after doing a little research I read that they don't always index sites that get submitted. So I figured if I paid for google adwords that would definitely get me indexed. Nope, still nothing. What should I do? It's just a very simple small business website I created on godaddy. I can't post a link on here (need 15 posts) but the site is midcapeautodetailing.com. Is there anything else I can do to speed up the process?

Most likely you just need patience, looks like the site has only been up a couple days, but here are a couple things that should speed up the process.

    1. Ping the site from pingomatic.com or pingler.com
    2. Go around and social bookmark it on a few of the bigger social bookmarking sites, then ping the urls your links are on.

There are a number of other things you can do as well such as building some backlinks, but this should pretty much do it. Also if you are trying to focus on getting traffic from organic search results you should read up and learn more about best SEO practices. You should check out the whiteboard friday vids and blog posts at seomoz.org.

note: I know you're new, but for the future you probably should have posted this here: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...cussion-forum/

You need to give it a bit longer before you start worrying. They don't index your site immediately. By the way, I always thought submitting your site to the search engines manually was one of the worst ways to try and get your site indexed. It is like saying to them, you probably won't find this site any other way so here it is.

You are much better off getting your site around some of the social networking or social media sites, in some forum signatures, blog comments, whatever. Once the search engines start seeing your site around a few places they will immediately add it to their index.

A really easy way is to create a wordpress blog on your domain and write a post or two.

I have never manually submitted my site to anything but Google. However, I find the others pick them up shortly after Google does.

Generally, it takes time but if I am in a big hurry, I do the social bookmarking thing. There are 50 sites which work well. Most of the time, I hit the first page the day after bookmarking. However, it does not last long without good backlinks.

    webworth.info/yourdomain.com

    statswebsites.com/www.yourdomain.com

    cash81.com/www.yourdomain.com

    http://whoisx.co.uk/yourdomain.com

    http://searchanalytics.compete.com/s...yourdomain.com

All you need to do is to replace "yourdomain.com" with the name of your website, then copy and paste each link in your browser. That's all!

You can do that manual or you can automate all this:

Take a list of all sites, copy and paste into a notepad and save it.
Open the file in Notepad, select all and use replace all functions - which is Edit - Replace with your domain name.
Now open urlopener.com which opens multiple websites
Add all 30 urls then click open all[1]

Your site has been indexed by google from my last check but it is not indexed by bing and yahoo, but be patient and just continue building relevant and quality links for your site. Sooner or later it will be indexed too.

Patience is a very important virtue in online marketing. Indexing can take from a week to a month. Although pinging may help, it is not a guarantee of quick indexing. Also, search engines vary. Sometimes you will get picked up by Yahoo first, then sometimes, Bing will be first.

Instead of worrying, this may be the perfect time for you to start building more backlinks for your site so that when a week passes, you can get indexed with higher rankings.

    Best of luck,

    Aira

This method has always seemed to do me well.

Create an Rssfeed through Google Feedburner
Ping the Rss and site URL using pingomatic and pingler

Create a Google Webmasters account and submit your site there (not manual submission)
      Submit your website sitemap

Submit your url to the top socialbookmarking sites
Submit your Rss feeds to the top Rss feed directories

Normally that method will have your site indexed with the week if not sooner.

Your site is now indexed at google. I sometimes see my new website get index in google between 2-6 days so you don't have to worry. Google will find your site for sure. In the meantime create backlinks via article marketing. It will your site's overall growth.
