Why does Bing not recognise my website!

I am doing some work for a client - looking into her SEO. I haver found that for one search term she is ranked 6th on both Google and Yahoo but nowhere to be seen on Bing. Can someone enlighten me as to why?!

    I am not use to bing. I prefer Google Which is the reliable search engine...

    Bing is generally slower than the others, but do you have a robots.txt file?
    The original MSN search wouldn't always index a site if it didn't have a robots file. This might still be true.

      There are reputable sites that are top across the board. But for most niches, why on earth would people think they would be the same? If there was no difference, then what good would google be? Bing? Yahoo? They would just be clones. But the people have voted. Google gets the most searches. If bing and yahoo decided to just give google-ized results, how could they stay in business? They call themselves alternatives, not a twin.

        Honestly I would not worry about it. I have a few sites that are #1 in bing and I get crap for traffic. Obviously less than Google but only about half as much as I get from Yahoo as well.

        I suppose it could well depend on the niche but nothing I have seen leads me to believe Bing is really worth worrying about.
