Hi all,

i am thinking to submit article on these directories:

ezinearticles

articlepros

goarticles

articlecube

isnare

buzzle

articlebasement

articleslley

articlecity

articledirectory

everyonesarticles

should i submit same article to all above these directories?

i have seen some article submission service where they are offering 5 articles to submit to 500 article directories. that means 1 article to 100 article directories. would it not be consider as duplicate content?

i am really stuck on this issue. please share your best method. thanks in advance

Depending on your goal, If you rely on search engine traffic, obviously you can't submit your article to a bunch of article directory.

On the other hand, the article directory itself will provide a traffic. So if you aim to generate traffic from ezine newsletter or other people's website. I would suggest to submit to as many article directories as you can.

I am also kind of confused on this very same issue. Some people say it doesn't matter to post the same article to the directories. Others say to re-write your article and then submit the different re-written articles to the directories. I feel possibly it's better to re-write the article and then submit them. I would do this just to make sure you don't get a duplicate content rap from Google.

    Thanks.

If you want to create individual articles for each directory, consider using a tool like JetSpinner.com (it's free) to create a bunch of unique variations from one seed article.

It's a lot quicker than writing a whole new article each time.

What I usually do is submit the article to ezine articles then once its accepted - submit it to all the other directories.

You don't have to rewrite the entire article. Just the title, first patragraph and last paragraph.

I have heard this too, both sides of the argument. I think most SEO's agree that you should try to change the article up a bit, at least your anchor text in your links and some of the surrounding text, and probably some verbage within the article as well.

I have been told that you won't hurt anything if google identifies it as the same article, but you may not get link juice from all the articles. Thoughts on this theory?

I would rather just rewrite it completely, for a 300 word article it takes about 9 minutes to rewrite it. So in about an hour I can get 5 or 6 100% unique articles into circulation

If all you want is backlinks from the sites, then you do not have to rewrite. If you want search engines to list your article from all the article directories, then you have to rewrite.

Personally, I say if you have the time to rewrite them, then rewrite them, at least for the significant directories like ezine and buzzle.

I used to experiment with adding the same article to multiply directories and did not see any positive outcome. I got backlinks but traffic and my ranking did not go up. Better to rewrite...

Post your article on your site first.
    Then to your blog.
    Then to Ezinearticles, ArticleDashboard.

After it has been accepted by Ezinearticles submit it to all the other directories.
your site and blog will get first credit by the SEs.
Ezinearticles is highly favored by Google and get your article noticed.

If you re-write so that it's 30% unique you can repeat the process with the same article.

If you have similar keywords/phrases that can be worked into the article re-writes all the better.
Also, you can turn the article into an audio and use that.
AND, if you're ambitious enough, you could make a screen capture video and use that.
It's amazing what can be done with one article.

I'd submit my original article to ezine articles first, and rewrite it to other sites after this.

    All the best,

    Franck.

I agree with what DJ stated, it's as simple as that. You perhaps can rank multiple times in the search engine under your desired keyword if your article is unique for each directory, but if it's not unique, only one of those article sites may show in the results, rather than all that you've submitted.

Just submit to as many sites per article, you need to submit more articles to see the traffic from articles.

If you have done a proper keyword research, you will be able to tap into some of the long tail keywords and drive a lot of traffic!

I know someone would concern about duplicate content, no matter how many site you submit, if the keyword you target are correct (low competition but high search volume) , at least one of the directory result will be shown!

Leave the duplicate content problems to Google, you just want your article to rank! and by my understanding, Google will rank one or few of the most relevant article directory for your topic.

Let's say your aritlce in Goarticle is rank well instead of Ezinearticles, that means some how Google find that Goarticle is more relevant with your article, and may be they have more related articles in their database than Ezinearticles...

We just do not know. I would recommend submit to as many directories as possible, but you want to automate the process!

One one of my main keywords I have 9 places in the first 2 pages, all from the same article rewritten. I had never accomplished this before until i started rewriting them 100%

Seems to be generally accepted that articles need to be about 30%+ different to avoid duplicate content issues.
