Google Sandbox

I had an Affiliate site that, up till now, was performing well on SEO. I had used article marketing and SE Nuke. Today, I looked at the site and found out that none of my ranked keywords were even listed. My site though was not de-listed as it showed up.
Is the Google dance ever that extreme or did I just mess up and angered to google Gods.

The Google "Sandbox" doesn't exist the way in which many people seem to think.

Google Search Engine Optimization Report Card

If you're playing nice and not in violation of Google's guidelines or recommendations, then your observance is possibly the result of some algorithmic change. They average more than one a day, making hundreds per year, if you didn't know.

The sandbox is a myth and there has not been a Google dance since 2003....

They are just excuses made up by SEO kiddies who can't get their crap thin affiliate or MFA sites ranked or get real editorially given backlinks.
