How Do You Get Your Backlinks Indexed?

Hello Fellow Warriors

I was just wondering the techniques other Warriors used to to get their backlinks indexed. I have been using PingDevice, as I read somewhere this was a good idea. Any thoughts on this? I've also been posting my link to Craigslist.

I think it makes sense to do this in a variety of ways, so as not to leave too much of a footprint. Surely G will get suspicious if it discovers a bunch of high PR links to the same place in the same way. What do you think?

Do you do make sure G indexes your backlinks, or do you leave it up to fate? If you do, how?

    use html2rss

put there all your links and it automatically converts into 1 rss feed. than spread it all over the net

With RSS I worry that is leaving a huge footprint, as all the links you have built are found from the one source. Or do you not think this matters?

I see how it converts into one feed, but how do you then spread it around?

Creating an RSS feed is really a good thing to do. Although if you build many, many links and build them constantly, you can stop worrying about getting them indexed. Because sooner or later they will, and it will look more natural for the search engines.

Only build backlinks from sites that get indexed regularly. Quit worrying about them showing up tomorrow . Don't get obsessed with footprints .. they are over rated

I use backlink booster and I love it.
If you want to hide your rss footprint, you can mingle your feed with other feeds and create one monster rss that just includes your backlinks.
A way to hide in the crowd if you will. Then submit it to a couple hundred directories.

i usually just let them be and let Google find them on their own.

I just let them be as well. It does take some time to show up, but they almost always do.

Lesley if your leave a coment/post/etc somewhere just ping it. Above and beyond that leave it alone. Google and the others will find it when they do.

And as far as being worried about "leaving a footprint" you don't have to worry if you just do what I and some others said above. You can't hide from Big G. They know what is going on.

I put the links up on a handful of sites and just let the SE's find them over time. Long as you keep the links up and the sites fresh, Google and the others will find them. If a few weeks go by and they don't, try putting a few more links up to them on already-indexed sites.

Hi! When i build backlinks, i normally bookmark and ping it. And just wait... G will eventually find it. :-) I know, waiting really sucks!

You can ping your backlink pages, and you can use microblogging sites like twitter, as well as identi.ca and YouAre.com

When you guys talk about adding the backlinks to digg or twitter...Is it safe to assume lets say a Directory link..You take that URL of your backlink and add it to Digg?

I used to ping my back links using SE Nuke's pinger back in the day and would get a quick surge in the rankings and then would drop off after that. Now I leave the back links to be found on their own. I have found that I get pretty consistent rankings this way. It just takes time is all.
