What are characteristics of starting the big SEO business that could also make profit and running expenses (salaries of about 10 employee, office rant, electricity bit etc.). post her your experience.

    Is it really lucrative? It seems as if there is a lot of free information out there (like this Forum) where you can pick up a lot of information. I do have an SEO guy although he is mainly used for support. I still like doing all of the dirty work.

      I can tell you for sure that there is big money in seo, especially for the guys ranking at the top of Google

      You have to remember, people such as the local builder or plumber are not going to do SEO work of their own are they?

      at least not 99% of the time anyway

    I don't know what country you are located in, but I just wrote an article about the Largest SEO Company in India if that interests you. They've got over 400 employees and still growing.

    Yes, there is a lot of business to be had out there. I have a lot of clients that are paying me big money to maintain their top rankings every month. Once you get the client it is all about making sure they get the results each and every month.

    There is a lot of ways to get your foot in the door at big companies, but the number one method is simple networking. You need to talk to EVERYONE you meet about what you do.
