Getting visitors to a parked domain is challenge. Who would like to visit a website with ads only? So i suggest to write some articles or put some tools in the domain instead of parking it.

Any way , you should give same care and effort on parked domain as you do on your websites to build traffic on parked domain. Parked domains will not rank in Google so all you can do is link building.

But again i suggest you to develop a site instead of parking the domain.

Parked domains are a challenge from an SEO perspective as they have so little content.

Your best best is probably to do some keyword research and find some easy long-tail keywords, which you can target with EZA articles. I've seen lots of guys (of the Bum Marketing idealogy) use this tactic of getting high rankings with very niche keyword titled articles.

You seriously need to read the TOS for adsense and parked domains.
Perhaps mixing up what adsense for domains really is. It is entirely
different than regular adsense, and I might add, your domain MUST be
submitted to and get approval from google. If you choose to take any
old domain, toss something up on it along with adsense, you are
      jeopardizing your adsense.

If you have a site that has content on it (e.g., articles, reviews, forums, blog postings or other text), then your site should be used with AdSense for content.
To use adsense and parked domains, it must be setup via google. It is for
      truly parked domains.

If your domain is not parked, then adsense for domains is a moot point, as
you have got to have your host and google be in sync. Otherwise, you
are just tossing up adsense on a domain page that has adsense on it.
And that may get you the big G boot. There is a whole list of terms for
domains and adsense regarding traffic, keywords, etc.

The best thing you can do is get as many relevant backlinks as possible.

This will eventually push your domain to the top of the search results, however, if it is just a parked domain, it is probably unlikely to stay there too long.

Just add some content to it.

Maybe so, but I find it hard to believe that many people are making $xxx/month from type-in click throughs. The parking service is taking at least half the rev in most cases. It's just tough for me to see xx,xxx people typing in mesothelioma-lawyers.info every month, and then clicking an ad.
