Hey Guys,

I got my final warning from adword's today, and I am absolutely so confused about what it is that i'm doing wrong. I was worried about losing my account So I went ahead and deleted all of my campaigns and also all of my ads. Do you think this will keep me safe from being banned?!

I know I could try and improve everything, but I dont want to take a buncha shots in the dark and get my account banned for life!

Did they give you a reason(s)? One time I was playing around and accidentally clicked on my own ad. They didn't like that too much for obvious reasons. They sent me a warning, but they also noted why...

They Noted A couple reasons. But I didn't wanna spend all the time fixing them and then get my account banned before I could fully fix everything. so I went ahead and deleted it all....

But my question was. Do you think they will still suspend my account if I deleted all my campaigns?

      Thanks!

In theory they should not suspend the account, take and keep some notes on when you got the notice and the actions / dates you took them and keep them on file but all should be good.

Why would they suspend your account if you've deleted all campaigns?
They would suspend if you had just paused them. But if you've deleted all campaigns then it should be OK.
However, the big question will be: Will you figure out all the stuff that has to fixed when setting up new campaigns? This is not too easy since they never tell you what exactly is/was wrong.

I don't think Adwords mind you clicking on your own ad - you just pay yourself - via Google taking a bit of commission in between!

I'm doing my best to revive my account as all of a sudden it got disabled.

If they disable your account - expect a looonnggg wait for anyone from Adwords to get touch and let you know why.

The bottom line is Adwords wants to 'create a fully satisfying experience for its users'. I'd recommend re-reading Adwords advertising policies and making sure all of your sites you promote are of 'high quality' (according to google).

Well, they warned me and didn't delete my account. It has been up for several years since then. All you can do is fix what they ask and move forward.

Interesting, did you make many changes to your campaigns?

I've also received the warning from Google but they didn't tell me exactly what was wrong with the site in question.

From my experience Goggle has really strict rules and will easily delete accounts.

The best thing to do is to get a good PPC course that talks about landing pages and make sure you construct your pages the right way.

Google wants to see out pointing links for example and doesn't link "dead ends" like squeeze pages and such

    Hope that helps

Ryan, most of the time it's the landing page that trips people up. Google has been getting very strict about them for at least the last year.
