Does Bounce Rate really affects Keyword Position?

I have one website of coupon codes & for my website the Bounce Rate is near about 75 - 80% so i just wanna know is bounce rate affects to the Keyword positions.. Because all of my keyword for the site is under 20 & some of them are in top 10 but within 15 - 20 days all of the keywords are gone out from the google & it always does in 15 - 20 days.. I had heard somewhere that Bounce Rate affects keyword position so i wanna know this deeply.. If my keyword is not in top then the site is useless for me, all of the efforts are also..

I heard that people are coming to your site & gone from the landing page within a sec so google thoughts that the site is not proper for the users so google will throw out the keywords.. Is this true?? If its true than why my all of the keywords are gone from the google, why not that particular keyword are gone out of google from which the users are closing the website??

Thanks in advance..

"At SMX Advanced, Danny Sullivan straight up asked Matt Cutts if bounce rate affected rankings. To which he responded "To the best of my knowledge, we do not use bounce rate in our web rankings." In fact Danny asked him the same question more than once, trying to get Matt to change his tune and he didn't."

This question can be answered logically.

If bounce rate was a part of ranking, then Google or any other search engine would need the data. Once someone clicks a link, there is no data for Google to gather. Unless of course Analytics is installed. But then, why use bounce rate? The idea of ranking your page is for your content on the landing page to be relevant. Google doesn't care what happens after that. Besides, bounce rate means little: every visitor to any site will eventually leave thus a 100% bounce rate.

CTR is a different matter. I don't believe you about the bounce rate; please give your evidence.

Not to be mean, but exactly what value do you attribute to "just guessing" (especially when confronted with specific evidence to the contrary)?

To me, it doesn't make any sense for Google to keep track of a statistic that has absolutely no bearing on anything. Why bother?

This has been argued over and over again.

Here is my 2 cents, Not everyone has Analytics installed so they would have to estimate bounce rates for other sites or use it only in certain instances. Also, what about small-traffic sites where bounce rates can be easily manipulated?

I understand why you would believe that it is used, and half of the posts/articles on the web about it suggest that Google does use it but no one has any proof whatsoever, it's just hearsay. The more I hear experts talk about it the less I believe that bounce rate plays a significant role in deriving anything about a site. It's a "noisy" figure and the real data would be in the actual site statistics.

After all, when you think about it, bounce rate is another measure of your relevance and popularity.

hearsay and speculation - one of the biggest problems in online communities is people second guessing and giving people false information without any evidence or statistics to back it up.

The answer is nobody knows if Google use CTR or Analytics information as a ranking factor, second guessing isn't doing anyone any favours.

My moto in this situation is simple - if there is no evidence or statistics to show they use something as a ranking factor forget about it, forget the what if's and assume it is not a ranking factor until you see something which proves otherwise.
