Hi all,

Is there any SEO affect by posting and adding content too quickly? I'm not necessarily trying to rank for every single post for one of my blogs but am noticing that some of the posts have not been ranked (except when read from another post). I initially expected that only my most recent posts were having this problem, but with closer inspection it looks like it occurs at various points. I would say there were about 15 posts made over a span of a week. also, the same number of backlinks point to each.

Anyways I was just curious.

Thanks!

Not really. Search engines are content eaters. But then, it may take them quite a while to index everything. But you can use a sitemap or ping them to make it faster.

Ok good to know. I just find it weird that I rank really well for Post 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, and 14. But the others i'm no where to be found (similar competition). also when I do find my other posts, it is only because the same words occur on the main page (ie the main page is displayed and not the specific post).

      I'll just keep waiting.

I am making at most 10 posts a day on some of my sites, and they are all doing very good.

I think updating a blog frequently is good if you consider Google! Still updating at this fast rate won't make it possible to promote posts!

Still this is good in terms of search engines!
