Google Adwords - where to start!

Good day everyone,

Earlier today I discovered that I had a $90 balance in my Google Adwords account. I must have redeemed a coupon code at some time (because I don't ever recall depositing funds). Well anyways, I would like to learn how to use Google Adwords. So with that said, can someone please point me to some really good FREE resources.

I just finished setting up a Amazon review site, so hopefully I can use Google Adwords to get a few sales. I don't really want to foolishly waste the $90. So if you could recommend some free resources, it would be greatly appreciated.

    you can also try ppc classroom .com they are the best at teaching newbies how to actually create a profitable campaign with adwords - all the stuff that google leaves out on purpose is in ppc classroom

        If you are completely new to Google Adwords, I would recommend Perry Marshall's "Definitive Guide To Google Adwords".

        This was one of the very first Adwords guide that I've gotten and it gave me a very good understanding of how Google Adwords work, and how to use it in such a way that will generate profits for me.

        Another book that I highly recommend is "Adwords For Dummies" by Howie Jacobson - You can get this one from Amazon. It's in the 2nd edition now and I must say this is one of the most comprehensive Google Adwords guide I've seen...

    I suggest you to start with "Local" targetted ads. It will minimize your expense & you can learn how adwords works.

    Agree with blazenet start with "local" targetted ads can minimize your expense. Also, do remember to cap your daily max spending in Adwords and don't run content and regular Adwords together in a campign
