HELLO

My developer is putting the final touches to a site im building and he needs my adsense code in order to install it all for both testing and visual purposes.

Only thing is, adsense has many variations of code. Different colors, sizes etc.

Is there a way for me to just give him access to my account, safely?

Or does anyone else have a better suggestion?

Much appreciated

I don't see why not, unless you don't trust the guy to just flat out steal your account.

Just ask him what you need to give.

What size codes? What colors? (you can answer this by choosing colors that match the design of the website and blend well)

I wouldn't give out your account information.

This thread belongs in the Adsense forum here. And to answer your question, you should be very very careful giving anyone access to your account. Don't do it unless you totally trust him. I mean TOTALLY!

You're much better off learning how to create the ads yourself and just sending him the code when he needs it.

I know how to create the ads, thats simple. And no i dont want to give him access to my account.

Must of been those apple ciders i had :p

I just wanted to know if these was a way in adsense where the developer can just log in with like a publisher account attached to my real account, that way he can create what he wants when he wants for ME.

It would seem very strange that with so many web design companies this feauture does not exist.

I wouldn't give my account credentials to someone even if i trust him, better safe than sorry.
You should customize your adsense blocks yourself, it's quite easy, then you give him the block size with its associated code.

I agree with those that say you should keep your account information to yourself. It's a simple matter of right click - copy - past to a text file or in the body of an e-mail. Send that to your developer.

My guess is your developer would probably rather not have to worry about you blaming him if something goes wrong within your account anyway.
