Do increasing back-links increase the website PR and presence in search engine especially in google? If the answer yes then what is the maximun number of back-links I would have to gather for a website? :confused:

    Yes, backlinks will have an effect on PR. There is no max amount of backlinks. Why would you want to stop getting links to your website?

      For what?

      It is not only the number of backlinks, but also the quality of those links. So, if you get 1000 backlinks from 1 source may be worth 10 backlinks from another.

    The more "dofollow" backlinks you get the better, especially from unique domains. But what matters much more than the number for link building/ SEO is the quality of those links, which includes topical relevance, trust, Google page rank and geographical relevance.
