Hey guys,

I'm really hitting the SEO scene hard with my new site, and I'm looking for more ways to build backlinks that isn't spamming the internet. I'm not comfortable spinning an article 1000 times and putting it everywhere, bookmarking my own sites, or creating a ton of user profiles at other peoples forums.

Anyone have any solid suggestions about building backlinks that is legit and is fast?

Here's what I've come up with so far...

Hubpages,
Squidoo,
Article sites
Guest blog posts

All using content that I wrote. Not spun garbage.

Would love some advice in this area.

Thanks,
Tyson

You can also create videos (submit to video sites), PDF reports (submit to free ebook directories), give away something (and one of the requests to qualify is to link to your give-away.

I'll think of some more ideas, but you have a good start there.

This is the best investment I have seen in ages - For just $1.00 you can get 4 coaching sessions - And the coaching is from internet marketing legend Chris Record.

Google still asserts that submitting to directories is valid. Overally I would say that google has some good metrics for determining if a link is easily placed on a page by the webmaster of the site being marketed, versus links naturally being placed. You just have to have a really cool site and getting those natural links is easier.

Go to some kind of blog/affiliate conference... take a lot of pictures and get in a lot of pictures w/ different bloggers/affiliates, put pictures up on your site (not flickr or somethign, your site). Let the bloggers/affilates know...

Don't be afraid to throw some forum signatures into the mix. Just get a variety of sources and go slow and steady. Don't worry about speed so much my friend
