How Much Is Bookmarking Worth? $$$

I just want a general discussion to see what everyone thinks about the dollar value of bookmarking.

So, let's put some numbers on it.

If you were guaranteed 5 urls to be bookmarked a day, each to 100 bookmarking sites, and each url is bookmarked to these 100 bookmarking sites by 20 unique ip addresses, and you can do this every day for a week, what do you think the value is?

I know it's quite an arbitrary question, but I'd be interested to know the value that we all think social bookmarking to that extent has...

    It is worth the revenue that it brings you, which is usually not very high.

    Depends on how many stick as backlinks, the PR value of those links, the traffic that may come etc.

    Arbitrary at best, hard to say.

    Unless you're using some sort of automation software, it's really not worth your time. You can go over to Fiverr and buy 5000 junky links for $5. Unless you specifically target people who know that you are providing high quality links (which I hope you are) then your average doesn't-know-much-about-IM buyer will probably opt for the 5000 junk links because they'll look at the number of links, not the quality.

    Social bookmarking doesn't worth spending time.But if you can use some automatic tools you can get nice link juice to your site.
