Hi Warriors

I was wondering if you could help me understand a difficult problem. I am building a new site - what is best for tracking on my landing page right through to the sale?

I have been told to take a look at Google Analytics, WebTrends, XConversions, Affiliate Radar, Keyword Xray

However I found Analytics cumbersome. Is there a better solution?

I am looking to integrate the tracking with Speed PPC as well

thanks

Mike

I would use a my own data to analyze exactly what traffic I am receiving from PPC. First you could set up your landing pages through your domain with different sub-domains connected to different PPC ads you have placed. By doing this you can determine where the most clicks are coming from. Once you have determined what ad is receiving the most clicks you can actually take it a step further by creating different landing pages to the same ad to determine which of the landing pages is converting the most traffic into sales. The dual process will allow you find out the best combination of PPC ad and landing page that has the potential for conversion. It is a non-stop process , but if stick with it allows you maximum profit from your PPC Campaigns.

For PPC Get the Google tracking conversion Pixel installed on the thank you page (even for affiliates) and you will have all the data from your PPC campaign waiting for you.
Append a ? to your keywords with an unique identifier from different links.

Dont use Affiliate Radar, It Is A Scam! No refunds or cancel account,, as u can see on there home page,, it says just like this:

If for any reason you are not satisfied within 30 days, simply send me an email and I̢۪ll promptly refund your money, note the cover my ass job?

In the software u still need to up load your CSV or Excel data anyway.

Get this,, the only campaign i used it to test,, 98% of the clicks and conversions goes walkies, hmm,,now is that funny ...

The Google Adword tracker is a good tool, but the problem with this PPC tracking tool is that it requires you to put a tracking code on the web page you want the search engine to redirect the traffic to. If it is your own website, you can place the code easily. However, if you are an affiliate marketer and selling products from ModernClick, Commission Junction, Clickbank or any other affiliate network, there is definitely no way out there to place the tracking codes on the sales pages.
