Question: Does Google index a site containing only a redirect?

Hello warriors,

I purchased a domain about 3 weeks ago and uploaded an index.php file containing a redirect to a clickbank affiliate page. My sole purpose was to cloak my CB hoplink.

My question is 'would Google index this site?'

I put important meta tags though like keywords, description and title in the index page. I checked with Yahoo Site Explorer and the domain is now indexed there.

I just have some qualms with regards to Google because they might not index the site because it contains no contents but meta tags only and a redirect command. I already pinged the domain and linked to it with several article links coming from EZA, goarticles and articlesbase.

Thanks.

If its a proper redirect, then the page won't get indexed.

The best way to redirects are done using your sites .htaccess file, and doing 301 redirects.

    Hope this helps
