editing old forum posts

Hi guys

I'm new to the forum and am looking at ways to create backlinks, I can't seem to find any sites that are dofollow that will allow me to add my link so if anyone can PM me a list or give me some hints then that would be handy but my real question is...

Would it be possible to post in dofollow forums without putting links in so that the posts are just normal and allowed to go through and then go back a month or so later once the topic has dropped off the main forum list and then edit your posts to add a backlink? Would the forum moderators see these changes and ban you or would they not even see it? Is it worth doing, as in will the old pages get indexed again and the backlink picked up?

this could work, but most forums have a limited time for you to edit posts.

I would recommend participating in these forums and just use the signature or profile link feature.

You should be able to go back later and edit this links so long as they are not inappropriate.

Well if you're talking about deceiving the forum I don't think it matters if you can or can't do it because you'll probably get caught either way. Forum owners are not stupid. If a forum doesn't allow links to be posted originally, why would you A) be able to post them later and B) not get caught from a script running to detect such abuse?

Be a contributor to forums - help others while others help you. That gets the most mileage.

The forum sites have the limited time to edit. The moderator will banned you, if you make changes in oldest post. So, better is make new post.

First of all, If a forum website is popular, then it will not allow to edit your posts after some period of time because the reason you have already told and it is here in quote

but you can add a signature in your profile and participate in forums continuously . You will get many visitors and credit in search engines.
