Hi Just have a few queries related to pinging backlinks:

1. How to ping backlinks?
2. How many links can we ping in a day?
3. Does they really help in indexing backlinks?

Please help. I am still learning.

    I'd recommend using pingdevice.com/ as it can ping multiple URL's. As far as amount to ping/day I've never had a problem pinging as many as I have but I usually age my domains a couple months before I work on them and put them in an "ageing cycle" so I'm always working on slightly aged domains.

    They can help index backlinks but definitely not as powerful or juicy as the backlinks. Also it depends where the backlinks are, sometimes if they're on very high trafficked or high PR sites then they're already being crawled multiple times a day.
