Different Between IE and Firefox for a phrase???

Hi Warriors,
I have a question about results when I used Google.
I typed a phrase "slim fast diet plan"
Results IE: About 7630 results -> low competitors -> good keyword
Results Firefox: About 95,400 results -> high competitors

        More than likely you ran the search in the browser you were logged into your Google account with and it gave you the results based off your personalization.
        Then when you switched browsers you were logged out, and when you ran the same search again, you received the results that were not based on your personalization.

          I don't think so. I sign in google in two browers. However, results are still different. I used google global for firefox. I'm unsure this is reason for the different

    I would say it has something to do with personalization and "omitted results" as in Google Supplemental Index -- the theory may be off here but you can see what I am referring to!

    This thread is related to the result in terms of google. We all know what is the basic difference between IE and Firefox.

    Thanks Brad that is really a great blog explaining about supplement. One of the reason which I feel is may be the result that you get are from different host.
