Clogged Up With Plugins Doing Nothing!

Hey!
I hope I'm not a lone in this problem and hopefully the replies will be useful for others to, but I have over the past couple of months gathered quite a few plugins in my wordpress web site and looking over my site stats they've really done nothing to push the visitors up at all - i'm wondering do some confict with others, maybe they're not setup right. I think they're probably slowing down my site at lunchboxdiet.co.uk
Has anyone got a combination that they can say has made a significant improvement in their results?
Also, Im finding it really hard to incrase my site visitors and could really do with some help in what to put in the title of my site that isnt too competitive, i'm just guessing at the moment.
