Google Display Network

I had my one and only campaign paused and made sure my Display Network unchecked. However, I still got 30 clicks after I unchecked it. I ended up deleting my ad campaign - thinking that there is now way my ads can get out there.

My question is - when I paused my campaign and my display network was unchecked - why did my ads continue to show on the display network?

This is because Google's Ad Displays and stats aren't real time, they do have a bit of delay.

So just because you paused it didn't mean that there weren't already clicks on the ads being caught up to your stats due to some delays.
