Hi guys,

A question about after website modification of keywords

For example, previously I have keyword phrase "A", "B", "C", "D" for my website. Now I find another keywords "E" which are suitable for my website. I therefore input it into my meta keywords.

So does that means I have to wait untill the spider to crawl my website again to see whether I will be rank for the keyword "E"? If that is the case, how do I know have the spider crawl my website already?

The spiders find this new keyword within 1 week. But note that its not enough at all to see your website on search engines for that new keyword. you should make backlinks for this new keyword too, to see it on search engines.

    abarton has it right.

If you want to target additonal keywords related to your main keyword, you do that by adding new content targeted to the new keyword. You then build backlinks for this new keyword just like you did for your main one.

      Hi

I do not understand the part of backlinks. For my website, I am rank for the keyword "925 silver jewellery" but this keywords does not even appear in my content (I have recently change my page content and shift the previous content to about us. The content in about us is previously the content of my first page)

Therefore why would I be rank with keyword "925 silver jewellery" when it is only put in the meta keyword?

By the way, I am only being rank in the Singapore Google for this keyword and not other Google.

I agree, meta keyword tags are not much help to begin with. Stick with title and header tags. ONE PER PAGE for maximum impact.

      Hi Han,

Thanks for your advise but I have a few questions.

      1) Take 1 of your post and create link structure
      yourdomain.com/new-keyword

By taking 1 of my post, do you mean the posting in forum?
do you mean I should create a link structure like
      dazimage.com/925 silver jewelry?

How can I create the link when I don't even have this page already
      created?

      2) Submit to Social bookmarking site.
Can you explain what is a social book marking site:p

      3) Build high PR link to it.
I notice most of the high PR side are nofollow. With nofollow, it does not
help right? Do you have any matter that I can find High PR side with
      dofollow?

Here are some more secrets. There seems to be quite lot of these.

Similar to above, but no gyrations.

You add the page yourdomain.com/keywordphrase.html(php, whatever)
Add this to the links off your main page (as well as all sub pages. The secret
here is to readily have all links on a sidebar on all pages)
Pump up that new page with some good stuff, make sure you link it with the
        right anchor text .

Voila! In a very short time, provided you have done your homework and
have built an authority site, you have to do virtually no backlinking
other than internal. Instantly added more keywords/phrases to your
site. Which, I might add, is exactly how google tells you too. (Funny I
keep repeating that phrase.) Google should index it within hours, if not
a few minutes. (Never understood why people think it's so hard and takes
an act of a witch doctor or something)

Oh you might want to toss the new page a high PR link here and there,
but for the most part, your work is down.

One more thing. Make sure the sub page/new keywords are more than a
little related to your main theme. Or make it so. Having somewhat of
foreign material in your website can confuse things, especially your visitors.

This once again stresses the importance of having an authority site.
