Can anyone answer this backlinking question ???

Hi guys,

Just need to know the answer to this question,

If i have a friend who is building me profile page backlinks and he creates a profile page and on that page is a backlink to my homepage www.jimdot com

Then tomorrow he creates another profile page on the `SAME` site but on that profile page is a backlink to a inner page www.jimdot com/music

Then the next day my friend creates another profile page on the `SAME` site but on this profile page is a backlink to another inner page www.jimdot com/movies

My question will i keep getting the backlink juice from the profile page ??

I sort of know that if i kept using the same profile site and just kept building profile pages but only backlinked the homepage google wouldnt keep giving me juice

But as i keep building profile pages and keep backlinking different inner pages do i keep getting the full juice or because the links are coming from the same site to the same site (although different pages) google will not keep counting he links ??

The main reason i ask is i have just had a guy build 100 profile page backlinks for me i gave him 4 urls and keywords (homepages) i would like him to do me another 100 but he will be using the same profile pages if i give 4 urls of inner pages of the same sites he has just backlinked will this still be worth it for my sites or should i just go and hire a new guy ??

    It will work. There is a better cost effective solution.

    You can link to more than 1 pages of your site from same profile.

    I have used 4 and even 6 links per profile. All pages are getting link juice and are ranking.

    There is no need to create extra profiles.

      I am putting 4 urls on each profile page all going to homepages on 4 different urls,

      What i need to know is if i then create another profile page can i add another 4 urls same 4 sites but this time pointing to a inner page instead of the homepage.

      I ask because i belive that if i use the `same` site to build my backlinking profile pages and point the backlinks to the `same` site (the homepage) then google will only give me juice for the first backlink no mater how many profile pages i build on that `same` site pointing to the `same` homepage i will only get the benefit of the first one.

      But if i keep building profile pages from the `same` site but instead of pointing them to the `same` homepage i point to the `same` site but inner pages will i get freshn juice ?

      maybe i`m confusing everyone sorry :confused:

        2 links are better than 1 even from same site but not equal to 2 links from 2 different sites.

        Yes they will pass link juice. You can built links for as many inner pages as you want in this way.

    To me, it would just be better to move on and create other profile backlinks except you can add multiple backlinks to each profile as shaktimaan indicated above.

    The reasons are these:

    1. It takes sometime for search engines to crawl and index your profile backlink and so if you replace the current backlink before the bots get to crawl it, it may never get indexed.

    2. If the backlink has been crawled and indexed and you subsequently replace the backlink, at the next crawling of that site, if the bots cannot find the old backlink in place, the bots will de-index that backlink and now start a fresh process of indexing the new backlink.

    This vicious circle will continue ad infinitum.

    Just create 3-5 links from the same profile... Putting only one link in each profile is a waste. You can easily have more links in each profile.
