Getting backlinks spidered

I try to keep a record of all the main places where I have created backlinks (article sites, directories, blog comments etc.). Some of them take forever to get spidered and indexed, so I was wondering about the best way to speed up the process.

I was thinking of creating an RSS feed as an XML file of all the URLs where my links are, uploading it to my hosting account and then submitting this feed to the main RSS aggregators.

Would this work or is it a problem having the XML file on my own domain?

Are there any better alternatives to speed up the spidering process or should I just leave be?

Thanks in advance
