Hi

When I do a search on google.com for my keyword on my home computer, google finds 8.700.000 different pages. But when I do the same search at my work computer I get 27.200.000 different pages.

Why this big difference? I've cleared the firefox cache on both and retested it, still the same.

My site appear on the first page of google.com when testing on from my home computer, but at work my site is on the middle of page 2

Best thing to do is to use a different browser from the one you are usually using.

But results may still be different and only Google has the answers.

Yeah, kind of scary if you ask me. Seems like the only thing that differentiates them are the IPs and search histories with those IPs (logged by google, and not on your computer of course).

Threads about this have popped up before.. look around a bit.
