Will Doing This Dilute My SEO?

I have a Wordpress site selling a physical household textile product. The domain is keyword rich and contains the name of the product.

The site has a number of Google page one, position one rankings for variations of the prduct name and is making sales.

If I add a related product to the site on a new page, will it affect the rankings?

So for example, if I was selling mattresses, would selling bed sheets from the same site affect rankings?

Your input is appreciated.

    Google doesn't rank SITES... Google Ranks Pages.

    However any time you change something on a page it can effect the rank of that page. So there is a slight potential to change ranking from your existing pages to the new page if you link out to them.

    Think PAGES not sites.

    If you add a page about related product then that should just increase your rank.
