permanent high pr backlinks

What would a permanent pr3-pr4 backlink be worth to you from an INDEX page? $5? $10?

I have never purchased these but I have been searching around and some sites seem to target newbies and charge some crazy prices.

    Sounds too high to me. If you go to some of the 'darker' forums, you'll find people offering this kind of link way cheaper.

    Not worth paying this kind of money.

    You should be able to get way more links at a lower cost, yet with decent PR, if you stick to the usual marketing methods, like article marketing, blog posting etc.

    If you are talking about a link on some page on a domain that is pr 3 or 4, which is what i'm assuming this is, it's not worth it no...if you can get a link on a homepage of a domain that is pr 3 or 4, or or link from a deep page that is actually a pr 3 or 4 page, then yes it's worth it and no you wont find that for $5

    Article marketing gets an instant high pr backlink? How? The page the article is created on with your backlink starts with a low pr and no authority at all. Same with profile backlinks and many other instant backlink strategies.

    Blog posts can get you a high pr backlink but it is hard to get many to stick on a PAGE with high pr that is constantly being updated. First you need to hope it does not get deleted and second you need to hope the page continues to get updated so google give it more importance.

    What I am talking about is a link on an actual home page where content is updated often so google gives it more authority. What I mean by authority is this. Lets say you have a backlink from YouTube - Shows (pr9). Your competitor who has a site that is identical to yours in every way including backlinks instead has a link on YouTube's home page (pr9). Who will rank higher? The home page of YouTube will carry more authority even though it is the same pr.

    This is what many top SEO guys accomplish by buying tons of their own high pr domains so they can create very good backlinks to any page they want. They invest a lot of money in this because it is more effective than blog commenting and article posting.

    Anyways, I just want to make sure everyone understands what I am thinking about offering. I am not going to offer just some blog comments on a pr3 page.
